The Graham Taylor match day is one of Watford's biggest games of the season, paying homage to the late, great manager.
In 2025, I was entrusted with the design of the programme's cover - a collage of Watford players who played under Taylor. I tastefully brought the piece together, giving the cover a painted, artistic feel whilst staying aligned with Watford's brand guidelines.

I also designed many of the spreads of the programme, as I would for every home match day. From my debut season at Watford, I looked to push boundaries when it came to layout and composition. My main goal was to convert the programmes from disposable leaflets to collectors’ items fans will treasure.
Our programmes from this season were a huge success - one rival supporter took the time to write into Watford "to complement your Program Staff on the quality of the Match Day Program. [...] The section on Burnley was amazing, the pen sketch on each of the Squad showed a lot of effort went into the production. I get to a lot of the away games in each season and I cannot recall another Club Program that covered the visiting team as well. So take a bow."
